Our ODD class (that is Overcoming Digital Dilemmas), while made up of self-admittedly odd people (teacher included! ), was an outstanding experience. The workshop was held last weekend and only one seat shy of a sell out. Not bad since there was no advertising done at all!! It was a wonderful opportunity for me to meet others in the area who are interested in photography. Ranging in experience level from beginners (one says he's "fresh outta the box") to intermediates, the students all acheived several "AHA!" moments. As Marjorie so nicely stated in her email....

Ginger,

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience! Before
your class, my digital camera was intimidating - crammed with
unwelcoming buttons and settings that I did not understand. Now, just
a few days after your workshop, the ole 20D and I are at the
beginning of a beautiful friendship. I can now eliminate the red (or
blue) tint from my photos; set the correct ISO (and now know what
that means) and change the shutter speed to let more (or less) light
in - quite a long way for a "point and shoot" gal.

Thank you for helping us improve the Laurel. Here's looking at you,

Marjorie D. Fielding

I am very much looking forward to our upcoming classes. If you are interested in learning more about digital photography, just click here for more information about our workshops.
