Having been married to an Air Force Sergeant (no longer on active duty) who was in the Gulf War, I can relate to how these guys feel. I am amazed at how often these folks are portrayed as 'intellectually-impaired'. The VAST majority of our military forces are smart, magnanimous, brave individuals who give so much of themselves to protect our nation. I, personally, say 'thanks for all you do' as often as I can! Please don't fall for the idea that just because someone didn't go to college means that they aren't smart. Ironically, you'd be proving yourself ignorant.
