As totally UNfond as I am for tax day, my accountant~the super-awesome Tracy Wood~ made it a little more bearable by presenting Tim and I with a short stack of these cute candybars. Milk chocolate stamped with the top of a 1040 form and the words' Heres Your Chance to Bite Back at the IRS' across the bottom. It helped a little...more so to Tim who is an unabashed chocolate fiend.
I have to take the chance to say, however, that the real way to fight taxes is to embrace the FairTax. I just can't figure out why more people aren't DEMANDING that this legislation be passed! If you aren't familiar, or know only what you've heard in the media, please check out their site at FairTax.org. It could be just the thing for our economy and our children's futures.
